Black Point in Winter
An NHC Director who takes the job seriously?
All looks fine, lots of animal tracks and a couple of beer bottles.  After a leisurely walk to Black Point on a beautiful Saturday in February, Paul McFarlane checks the beach and surrounding area.  Plenty of deer tracks and fox prints.  The wind has made a frozen ridge in the ice.  The amazing power of mother nature.  Around the point are several spots where springs are actually bubbling up through the ice.  Paul checked to see if they were hot springs, the answer is no!
