Mother nature knew it would be cold today so she sent TWO suns - January 17, 2007

1/17/07 Look for the weather in the upper left-hand corner and the icons in the scrolling menu at left.  Click on the picture to go to the page that you are interested in.  We understand there are some serious SuDoku players out there.  Anyone interested in a contest?  Coming soon we will have the 2007 Calendar.  In the meantime, click on events to see who is responsible for what, particularly if you are the "who" and you don't remember "what".  We hope you continue to enjoy the website.  Thank you to all of you for your continued support.  Cheers from the porch!

1/24/07 - The weather is perfectly beautiful today. A light snow falling when we got up 27F (-4C). The lake is frozen across from the west side to the east side at least at our end. North Hatley Walking Club met at 10:30AM at St. Barnabas Church to enjoy about an hour's walk up in the hills. There is a Men's Bonspiel going on at The North Hatley Curling Club. Winter is a busy time here.

This morning January 30, 2007, was spectacular.  This photo was taken at 7:43AM.  Almost THREE suns and yes, that is a snowbow.
Many thanks to Hugh and Susan Gwyn for this photo taken February 2, 2007 of the moon setting over the west side of the lake.
Black Point February 3, 2007

A snowy morning in February. Very little open water left.
