| NEW! The golf format is changed somewhat. Instead of a best-ball scramble, we will play "Chapman" rules. A team is made up of two partners. Partners A&B each drive off the tee. Then A hits B's shot where it lies, and B hits A's shot. After this the partners will select one ball to complete the hole. The partner whose ball is chosen hits the third shot. Players alternate until the hole is completed. The team's score for the hole is the number of strokes taken on the ball they used to finish the hole, from tee to cup, plus any applicable penalty strokes. If a player plays out of turn, drop a ball in the original position, play a shot in the correct order, and add a two-stroke penalty to your score. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| NEW! There will be individual prizes for Ladies' Long Drive (hole #6), Gents' Long Drive (hole #8), and Closest to the Pin (hole #9--Ladies and Gents all competing for one prize). To be eligible, it must be your first shot on the hole (sorry no mulligans) and the ball must come to rest on the correct fairway or green.
