| The Final Black Point Picnic of the season was unseasonably warm and so well attended. Approximately 30 people arrived with picnics in hand and landed on the beach. The sun had warmed the beach and the water so despite our preparations for a cold August night, we were toasty and warm. Paul Caron and Brian Merrett played guitar and the multitudes sang. We discovered however, that the moon rises around the corner at this time of the year. Perhaps we should have the last picnic on Third Beach just so we get a better angle. It was a wonderful evening and we didn't want to leave. Please join us next summer! | |
